With a strong history as an executive business visionary and “intrapreneur,” I am a Senior Operations Executive known for identifying and solving operational and market-related challenges using innovative business strategies and organizational transformation. Throughout my career, my focus has been on developing and implementing business models and enterprise-wide planning that support delivery of strategic goals and implementation of large-scale projects and programs.
Most recently, I was Vice President, Student and Information Services, and CIO for Rhodes College, a nationally recognized private liberal arts college. Leading the team that provided all Information Services and Student Services support to the student body, faculty and staff, I successfully planned and directed the redesign of Student services to provide greater service integration through improved access and customer service, which led to improved student retention.
Previously, I was CIO at Belmont University, where I reengineered the Information Technology Services function and processes to improve productivity and reduce expenses. Since 2002, I also have provided Information Services consulting to clients in higher education and healthcare.
I am a strong communicator who easily establishes beneficial relationships with internal and external constituents. I am a nationally recognized subject matter expert, speaker and author on technology innovation, operational excellence, strategic planning and change management.
